Downtown Ithaca Alliance to host the Third Annual Ithaca Oktoberfest – October 25 – 12 to 5pm in Downtown Ithaca on Restaurant Row. The Ithaca Oktoberfest is full of rich harvest season celebrations complete with live music, sampling from regional breweries, wineries and farmers, as well as local food vendors. Local favorite microbreweries will be competing in the Oktoberfest championship for best beer. The first Champion of the “Oktobercup” was Cortland Beer Company in 2012 followed by Hopshire Farm Brewery in 2013. Both will be back to defend the title of best brew.
Other competitors include Bandwagon, Bacchus Brewing and Ithaca Beer Company. Local farm goods and food tastings will be available at every turn. You will be able taste the last bit of fresh seasonal apple cider or get pumpkins to take home and carve.
Advance purchase tickets may be purchased with cash or credit card at the Downtown Ithaca Alliance office or over the phone by calling 607-277-8679 (starting October 1st). Tickets will be available for pick up on October 25 in the express line upon presentation of identification (over 21). Tickets can be purchased the day of as well. Tickets are $15 for 10 drink samples and 5 food samples. Larger food portions will be available for purchase.
